Homegrown Militia Trials Delayed

Homegrown Militia Trials Delayed

The trials for three men charged with a fire bombing in Minnesota, and the attempted fie bombing of a Champaign women’s clinic has been moved to February. The three are part of a homegrown militia formed in Clarence, Illinois in Ford County.  Their trial had been scheduled to start this month. The delay was requested by the prosecution as lawyers continue to sort out which trials will take place first.  A fourth defendant has already pleaded guilty to possession of a machine gun and has agree to testify against the others.
