Cameroon Man Arrested for Defrauding Kankakee County Bank

A Maryland man, originally from Cameroon, has been arrested at Dulles International Airport in Washington   D.C.,on charges of defrauding a Kankakee County bank out of 141,000 dollars.  The feds say Lovette Namatinga has been indicted by a federal grand jury for bank fraud and wire fraud after he allegedly induced four large electronic payments to Keiko San Products where he worked by falsely representing himself as the secretary of one of the banks customers.  Namatinga then allegedly transferred the money to his personal account.  If convicted he could do 30 years in jail and be fined up to 1,000,000 dollars for bank fraud and 20 years and 250,000 dollars for the wire fraud charge.
